"Much of my work draws on abstract patterns and behaviours found within natural and scientific phenomena. These ideas create a dialogue through which I translate my understanding into material processes, exploring form and texture.

I have a big place in my heart for textiles and enjoy pushing the boundaries of traditional textile-making, allowing it to cross into sculptural, immersive and interactive spaces. The work for me becomes a way of approaching something not fully known or easily articulated. A means of navigating phenomena, sensations, or thoughts that sit just beyond clear explanation."
